TOLU FOLARIN FOR SUBDIVISION 4
Dear Regina Residents,
My name is Tolu Folarin (pronounced "Toe-loo Foh-lah-reen"), and I am excited to announce my candidacy for Regina Public School Board Trustee for Subdivision 4 in the upcoming election on November 13, 2024.
As someone who has dedicated my life to advocating for social justice, equity, and quality education, I believe that our community deserves strong leadership that is not only passionate but deeply informed by lived experiences and a commitment to creating positive change in our schools.
Education is essential for advancing truth and reconciliation. I am committed to implementing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action, ensuring Indigenous histories and cultures are integral to our schools. By fostering understanding, respect, and healing, we can build a brighter, more inclusive future for all students in Regina.
Every student deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. I am committed to creating an educational system that ensures fair access to resources and opportunities for all students, supporting those who need it most and closing the achievement gap.
