ABOUT ME

 I’m Tolu Folarin, a Registered Social Worker licensed in Alberta and Saskatchewan, with a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina. I have been practicing since 2019, with a focused specialization in infidelity, betrayal trauma, and relationship healing.

Whether you discovered an affair, were the one who was unfaithful, or are struggling with the aftermath of betrayal, I understand how deeply it can affect your sense of safety, trust, identity, and connection. Infidelity can leave couples feeling stuck between anger, grief, confusion, guilt, and the question: Can we actually recover from this?

My work focuses specifically on helping couples and individuals navigate the complex emotional aftermath of betrayal, including physical, emotional, financial, and online infidelity. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can slow things down, make sense of what happened, process the hurt, and begin moving toward healing, whether that means rebuilding your relationship or finding a healthy path forward separately.

I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and incorporate EMDR-informed approaches, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) where appropriate. My approach is warm, compassionate, practical, and paced to your needs.

I work with both couples and individuals, including betrayed partners and partners who have been unfaithful. My goal isn't to tell you whether you should stay or leave. Instead, I help you gain clarity, understand the patterns that brought you here, process the impact of betrayal, and make intentional decisions about what comes next.
